Our monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, usually at the Miners Welfare, Llay near Wrexham, at 8.00pm. For further information about the North Wales & West Cheshire CHICS group you can contact Cheryl at: cheryl.davies7@btopenworld.com or Erica at: erica.chics@hotmail.co.uk

Bereavement meetings and Parent only meetings are held on the first Tuesday of alternate months - same venue as the monthly meetings. The next Parent only meeting is Tuesday 3rd January at 7.30pm. For more information please contact Erica.

High School Group:
A message for new and existing members of the high school group, we as a committee think it would be a good idea for you to have a meeting of your own and discuss what you as a group would like to do. For example meetings, outings and fund raising ideas. If you are interested please contact Erica.

Thursday 20th October we have arranged for you to go bowling at Cheshire Oaks, please be there for 6pm ready to bowl at 6.30pm. Please contact Erica if you would like to go as soon as possible as we need to know numbers.

Coffee Morning / Afternoon:
Would you be interested in having a coffee morning or afternoon in the Wrexham/Chester/Mold area? If you have your child or siblings at home, we would find somewhere that they would be entertained (e.g.; Jolly Jungle in Mold). Also would you be interested in having an evening meeting in the Colwyn Bay, Bangor areas? If you are interested please contact Erica and we will try our best to arrange this.

If you would like a home visit from Erica or a chat with her on the phone please do not hesitate to contact her. Also, Erica is at clinic once or twice a week. You can leave a message for her if she is not there.

Newsletter By E-Mail:
We are now in the swing of sending our newsletter out by e-mail, if you have an e-mail address could you please send it to Erica as we are trying to save money on our postage as it normally costs £90.00 per month.

Fundraising:
Have you got in your cupboards any unwanted gifts that could be used on a tombola (e.g.: Wine, spirits, toys and toiletries) to help us raise money and continue supporting our members, if you have please contact a member of the committee or if you would like to leave in clinic and Erica will collect them.

Could you hold a coffee morning, raffle or anything to help us raise money to help continue with the service we provide.

Do you work for a company who gives charitable donations? Could you place a collection box in your local newsagents or pub? If anyone can help in any way (e.g. sponsored events, coffee morning, school non-uniform day, etc.) please contact any of your committee.

Our sincere thanks go to those of you who have already responded. Your support is very much appreciated.

Have you got any fund raising ideas? If so please telephone a member of our committee.

We still have Christmas cards and pin badges available. Would you be able to sell any of these items to your family and friends.

Volunteers:
Could you or family and friends help us with fundraising. Example being:- putting us forward to your charity committee at your place of work, or organising a bag pack at your local supermarket. Are you interested in going on our volunteer list for our charity events.
