CHICS - Pictures 4

These pictures are of children from North Wales & Cheshire CHICS group enjoying a morning throwing a pot and painting at the Piggery Pottery, Llanberis during their recent caravanning weekend at Caernarfon.

These are 2 pictures from the North Wales & Cheshire CHICS celebrating their 20th Anniversary at the Christmas party 2006, and 1 of some of the high school group go-karting.

The Plough Inn

Eddie Hincks with the owner, friends and Children from The Plough Inn Southport who raised £2,250.00 for CHICS from a golf day. CHICS member Nathan Drummond, front row third from left, nominated CHICS to receive the money.

Liverpool Mascot

Anthony Todd - fulfilling his dream to be Liverpool's Mascot.

Great Balloon Race:
All three area groups of CHICS held a "Great Balloon Race" on International Childhood Cancer Day, Sunday 18th February 2007. The day was a great success and a good day was had by all who attended. We released over 1200 balloons and the winning balloon was found in Suzanne, France and Stephane Mullie returned the card. They will receive €75. The winner is Rhiannon Preuss and they will receive a cheque for £100.

Glan Llyn

These pictures were taken at a trip to Glan Llyn in North Wales.
As you can see there was lots to do and everyone had a great time.

Charity Night in Aid of CHICS:
Our thanks go to Annette Smith and family for organising the night which raised £1,000 for Liverpool CHICS. A friend made the cake on the right and the other picture is of Helen and Rachel.

Annette's third daughter, Sophie, won the prize for best dressed female, which was judged by Eddie Hincks.

Over the Wall Camp:
These two pictures are of CHICS siblings on a visit to the Over the Wall Camp near Bournemouth. A great time was had by all. For details of these holidays please contact the CHICS office.

They are dong a series of fundraising events for CHICS, including some of the GUYS having their legs waxed, painful.

Thank you so much! Gaby really enjoyed her day! It was a long journey ...5 hrs! But a great day!! Here is a picture of Gaby getting ready to enjoy the show!
